Remember Viacom’s $1 billion lawsuit against Google over copyright infringement?

Viacom sued Google, arguing that “YouTube is a significant, for-profit organization….based on building traffic and selling advertising off of unlicensed content.”

Blue calls it “the first professional portable USB mic, and recommends it for mobile podcasting, VoIP software (such as Skype and Vonage), field recording, lecture recording and music recording.

It retails for $79.

There’s been some discussion in the last few days about so-called “blogging 2.0”.

Call me blogtarded, but this “blogging 2.0” idea seems to be missing the most basic thing that has made the growth of blogging and Internet media interesting: the Internet is unrelentingly lowering the barriers to content publishing, to the point that it is becoming trivial to publish content.
