Zoom Intros $99 H1 Handy Recorder

Zoom has introduced the H1 Handy Recorder, the latest in their line of portable digital audio recorders. The Zoom H1 packs a surprising amount of power into a tiny $99 package.

The H1’s onboard microphones are configured in an X/Y pattern. The result is stereo recordings with natural depth and accurate imaging.

The H1 records on microSD cards and comes with a 2GB card. Using a 32 GB microSD card allows over 50 hours of recording time at 16-bit/44.1 kHz.

    Looks great. Really wished it had a USB rechargeable battery. Even so I may have to get one.

    Check out other pictures of the Zoom H1.. Ive noticed how different one picture is from another..

    Some Zoom H1 have shinny looking mics and some have mics with more mesh.. which is better.?

    Nice. Interesting. Is this work easily with a Mac or we have to install a plug-in that is not really working?
