Ricky Gervais Podcast Gets Turned Into An Animated Cartoon

British comedian Ricky Gervais has translated his popular podcast, The Ricky Gervais Show, into an animated series for HBO.
The animated series takes the audio of the podcast and puts animation to it, intercutting retro-styled animated scenes with animated versions of Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington.

The animated Ricky Gervais Show series brings the podcasts to life and makes them even more amusing. To see the little skits played out from Karl Pilkington’s ramblings is a joy.
This show is hilarious. Ricky’s laugh and Karl observations make for a very funny and entertaining half hour.
Can’t wait to see series 2, dont think we’ll see it in the UK until next year.
