MP3 Fashion Taser May Be The Bad Idea Of The Year

CES: Taser may get the prize this year for introducing the most stupidtactular product at the Consumer Electronics Show – a leopard-print “fashion Taser,” with an MP3 player holster.
While everybody else was putting iPod docks onto televisions and refrigerators and speakerphones, Taser had the audacity to something truly unique and, well, possibly insane!
The $379.99 TASER C2 and matching $72.99 MP3 player holster let you listen to your tunes anywhere, like other portable media players.
But unlike your iPod, the Taser C2 offers neuromuscular incapacitation!
The C2 has a replaceable cartridge, containing compressed nitrogen, that launches two small probes that are attached to the C2 by insulated conductive wires at attackers or victims up to 15 feet away. The C2 transmits electrical pulses along the wires and into the body, affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system. The energy can penetrate up to two inches of clothing.
“Don’t tase me, bro,” never sounded so good!
This is insane. How is this legal??
I disagree, I really like the idea.
What else do ladies have to defend themselves from all the buttheads out there?
Since the Taser can’t kill anyone, I can at least disuade an attascker without having to worry about shooting him with a real gun and then dealing with their death.

Can I get an mp3 player installed on my .357 mag?

Tasers can kill people, unfortunately – but there’s probably a time and place for them. I just don’t know if they make sense as a fashion accessory MP3 player!
I know when I’m out and about, whether walking down a country road, in a mall parking lot or even working after hours alone, I listen to my IPod and totally ignore what’s going on around me. This is how criminals select their victims; they may not be paying attention or the IPod may drown out hearing someone approaching. A friend who is a self-defense coach says your only objective when attacked is to get away. I say kudos to the Taser company. This is ideal for women and wish I had one.
Taser kill??? OK, maybe in about 1% of the cases that a Taser has been deployed. Mostly people with a unknown heart condition or other medical issue that the Tazer agrevated. If you can’t carry a gun a Tazer is a great way to still be able to defend your self and yes they are legal for civilian purchase in MOST places.
This will be very interesting. To be listing to a mp3 player and be tazing a person at the same time. I could see someone in the mall walking out and be listing to a mp3 player then have someone walk up and try to mug them and they get tazed.
Okay my teacher says there needs to be a wireless tazer mouse so in class when people are acting up there inst a need for a principal or a School Reasurce Officer all u need is a wireless tazer mouse. click the click wheel and there go the the votls!
I cant wait to see a tazer on a 50 cal on the black market lol.
Now my teacher is also saying a tazer on a wireless keyboard hit the enter key and you taze people and the prongs come out of th front.
JNevis – yes – it’s rare, but Tasers have been known to kill and there have been several controversial instances of this.
wouldnt u get shoked if ur lisnin 2 ur mp3 and taze some1?
