How telling is it that this machine comes installed with Microsoft Windows XP on it (8 months after Windows Vista was released)?
(that’s rhetorical)
Its certainly not the fault of Microsoft. Hardware and software manufacturers in the recording industry tend to ride on the sales of their current products rather than spend the money on the resources to re-write their apps ands drivers to be compatible. Some simply don’t have the time, being that they are small companies and they are faced with supporting 3 operating systems now (XP, Vista 32, and Vista 64). Windows Vista rocks, but not too many apps are compatible yet, making it obviously a bad choice for musicians and producers.
