Apple, Fox Bringing Porn Stars To iTunes

Fox Reality has partnered with Apple to deliver the first episode of all of its upcoming series to iTunes for free, one week prior to their premieres.
The first series to premiere on iTunes, Fox’s My Bare Lady, promises to be controversial. The series follows U.S. adult film stars Kirsten Price, Nautica Thorn, Sasha Knox, and Chanel St. James in a competition to become stage actresses in the West End.
“Things heat up when four American adult film stars are sent to London‚Äôs most prestigious theatrical school to prove they can really act,” according to Fox. “When the curtain goes up, someone‚Äôs going down.”
“We’re fortunate to have enjoyed some real success with our original content on iTunes, and so this seemed like the next logical step,” said Fox Reality chief operating officer-general manager David Lyle.
The first episode will be available on iTunes Nov. 30, days before its Dec. 7 on-air debut. On Dec. 8, the episode will be priced at Apple’s usual $1.99 retail cost.
Other originals set to bow on iTunes include “Rob and Amber: Against the Odds,” which premieres in January, and law-enforcement skein “The Academy,” slated for May.

This is idiotic on Apple’s part.
Apple has a good image with families – they’ve been in schools forever and are still strong in education – so why do they think that they need to start selling pornographic content?
It will make me think twice before shopping at the Apple store.
its not actual porn, its merely pornstars. there will be no actual porn, as this is a TV show. notice how the writer give it the tag “future of television”, lol.

Apple doesn’t need to stoop to this – Fox will do whatever it takes to get people’s attention – and unfortunately that usually means something crass and disgusting.
Laugh if you want – but if that’s the future of television that you want, I grieve for your children.
I monitor what my kids watch. I don’t need Apple – or the government – to do it for me. If censorship (government or otherwise) is the future of child raising that you want, I grieve for your children.
