ifrogz has introduced the Tadpole, a new line of video iPod cases made specifically for children ages one and up.
The Tadpole is designed to provide a way to let even very young children use iPods. The cases are engineered with two large handles that not only help children maintain a solid grip on the iPod, but also provide additional protection for the device.
“Many families have DVD players in their cars to help entertain their kids on road trips,” said Scott Huskinson, president of ifrogz. “Now it’s possible for moms and dads to entertain their children wherever they go with an iPod in a Tadpole case — in the supermarket, at the doctor’s office, waiting in line, at the gym, as well as on a long trip. ifrogz’s Tadpole has got their entertainment needs — and your iPod — covered.”
Measuring 5.5-inches wide, 4.25-inches high, 0.75-inches thick and weighing 2.7 ounces, the Tadpole provides protection without adding significant bulk.
“As a father myself, I’ve seen how my own kids love watching iPod videos in a Tadpole case,” Huskinson said. “They love watching their favorite cartoons and movies on an iPod, and it was from this understanding that the idea for the Tadpole was born. We’ve assembled a fantastic team here at ifrogz, and I believe we’ve built a phenomenal new product.”
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is only $24.99. The Tadpole will begin shipping in early December 2006.
