Argh! Pirates Offer Free Weather Podcast Service for MySpace
Oct 1st, 2006 | By James Lewin | Category: Audio Podcasting, Podcasting ServicesPirateWeather, a service that offers robocasted weather reports for every Zip code in the US, has introduced a new service for MySpace users.
Pirate Weather’s podcasts are automatically generated using text-to-speech software, and available via embedded players or podcast feeds.
If you’re interested in trying this out, send a request with your Zip code and MySpace homepage URL to pirate Robbie Schmelzer: callrob (at) gmail.com.
We’ve asked Schmelzer to consider automating this process, and will follow up with an update if this becomes available.
