PodTech Acquires Geek Entertainment TV

PodTech, a technology podcasting network, has announced that it has acquired Geek Entertainment TV, a technology video podcast. Geek Entertainment TV’s Irina Slutsky and Eddie Codel will be joining PodTech and working with Robert Scoble.
“We‚Äôve been talking for a few weeks and actually signed the contracts today,” according to PodTech.
“How did we get them to join?” asked PodTech’s Robert Scoble. “We‚Äôre buying them their own camera (they were doing their work on a borrowed camera). We‚Äôre doing a Fry‚Äôs trip tomorrow.”Geek Entertainment TV is described as “an emerging global media empire” and has featured interviews with Digg’s Kevin Rose, Steve Wozniak, Mitch Kapor and others.
