Kid Pix Adds Podcasting Support
Jul 6th, 2006 | By James Lewin | Category: Audio Podcasting, Podcasting SoftwareSoftware MacKiev, a developer of consumer and education software, is demonstrating a new podcast-friendly version of its Mac OS X edition of Broderbund Kid Pix Deluxe 3X this week at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) in San Diego. A presentation entitled “How To Make Podcasts Using Kid Pix” is running several times a day in the company’s showfloor theater (booth #414).
“It feels great to be helping students get their Kid Pix creations published in a podcast.” said Jack Minsky, President of Software MacKiev. “Parents can then subscribe and view their kids’ work on the morning commute to work. We think kids will be justifiably proud that their work appears on the Apple iTunes Podcast Library where it can be viewed by their friends and relatives, anywhere at any time.”
Careful with viewing that art while driving……
Software MacKiev’s Kid Pix Deluxe 3X with iPod export requires Mac OS X 10.1.5 or later and a Macintosh computer with a 266Mb processor or faster including Apple’s new intel-based Macs. A free Universal update to version 1.1 is available to current users from Software MacKiev’s Web site. A retail single-user package is available in all Apple Store retail locations in the US, Canada, Australia and Europe for $39.95.
