Is there anything currently hotter than the iPhone?

If Hugh Hefner gets his way, it will be the iPhone plus iPlayboy, a collection of downloadable multimedia features. Hef’s multimedia offering includes photos, audio and video, all formatted for the iPhone.

“We have always tried to stay ahead of the curve by delivering the fun, sophistication and sexiness of Playboy to our fans on the newest and hottest media platforms,” said John D. Thomas, editor of Playboy.com. “And with so much buzz surrounding the all-in-one Apple iPhone, we knew we had to develop something specifically designed just for this device.”

Previously, the company has introduced iBod, described as “a veritable ocular orgy” for the iPod, and it’s own take on podcasting, bodcasts.
iPlayboy includes:

• A set of twelve non-nude Playmate wallpapers;
• A separate photo album with twelve additional Playmate photos;
• A 1-hour episode of Playboy Radio’s The Playmate Hour with hosts Miriam Gonzalez (Miss March ’01) and Pilar Lastra (Miss August ’04); and
• A Cyber Girl video

According to Playboy, “It’s the next best thing to having Playmates on speed dial.”
